What We Do
Danco Consulting can review existing designs prior to construction to provide a contractor's point of view on the project before it is sent for tender and provide comments and recommendations as required. We can also do the preliminary review of a client problem or need and create a scope of work with basic design and equipment selection for the client's contractor. Another cost saving solution for a project is for us to provide a design intent for a 3rd party engineering firm to provide a full engineered design. This removes a lot of preliminary work from the engineering firms and helps to expedite a project into full design as well as cut on front end costs.
Danco Consulting will design electrical systems from simple new construction layouts to complex industrial control solutions. We have done successful projects with heat recovery solutions, load displacement Cogen systems with grid parallel utility connections, Generator installations for peak shaving, as well as involvements in the municipal water and sewage industry.
Danco Consulting will provide support on a project from the early design phase to final completion and commissioning of the systems. This can be done at multiple levels, from a clients perspective to assist in managing a complex project that involves multiple consultants and contractors, to an electrical engineering firm that requires unbiased assistance in managing contractors and review performance and progress, to a contractor requiring assistance in general project management. Basic courses and guidance in project management and electrical business operations are also a service offered.
Danco Consulting really specialises in inspections of existing electrical and even mechanical industrial systems. Our field inspections and reports of the electrical system will provide data to improve reliability by identifying current and future problems and possible failure points in the infrastructure. A cost analysis of maintenance and repairs required can also be included to help source funding for life cycle replacement of equipment to pinpoint where the focus of investment is required to keep the operation or manufacturing running with reduced risk of failure. Highly skilled and competent partners can be brough in as needed to assist in Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and process mechanical inspections and analysis as required or requested.
As part of a system inspections and Analysis, the client can choose to add a Maintenance plan for the electrical system. This helps the client secure funding for ongoing maintenance and repair that will add reliability and extend the life of the electrical infrastructure. Alternatively, if a maintenance plan is already in place, we can perform a review and refresh the plan to reflect any changes to equipment or adjust to align with recent practices and recommendations.
